Sorry Ray et Al, I woke up today and though, wonder what's happening with the old cars so I logged in. Glad you are enjoying the car.

You will cut your old ends off and glue them then, on my 4-door at least, ran it up the A-pillar where the factory glued in a 45 degree piece before going on toward the rear of the car. I tried to replicate it and cut out the 45 degree turn and reuse it. That meant there was four joints to glue...

I’m so sorry to have been this tardy replying to my own post. To the questions of 2-door vs 4-door. "ceebuddy, post: 711410, member: 3186"]On such a low-mileage car at such a price I would not expect to discover something like this (see arrows)” I noticed that rust spot along the rocker too and I see the carpet marks as well. It’s a nice looking car but most likely the odometer has been...

I’d be a little skeptical based on what I’ve read. Limited pics that can only be uploaded via text messages because the computer is wonky yet the seller can access this forum just fine. Pics can be attached here just fine and the seller claims to be a restorer yet any restorer worth his salt...

Brent, Short answer is not available however, there is a GM extrusion available from Dave at Restoration Specialities. You must cut off your end pieces though and glue them in with weatherstrip adhesive. I did my 78 NYB and if you see the photobucket link below it matches up pretty good. Tap...
