    Personally, I'd use Reliable Carriers - not cheap but they're the folks who carry million dollar cars. Highly recommended.

    Save your cash for other required parts and get the legendary upholstery, keep the vinyl as you can always go custom in future if you choose. I wish you happy motoring soon.

    It'd be far less hassle to just get the correct tank than stuff around blocking vents, spend the time thus saved repairing some other component. Happy motoring when you're done.

    Usually, most places have hazardous waste disposal stations where you can take old chemicals etc, they usually take old fuel too. Must be one near you.

    Washer bottle cleanup

    Denture tablets are good for removing coffee and tea stains from thermos flasks. Probably the worst thing that will happen is they won't be strong enough to remove the stains.

    As a possibly wild guess, try contacting 3M as they make lots of vinyl products, made the di-noc woodgrain vinyl used on cars back in the 60s etc, and thus "probably" made the tape you require, no harm asking anyhow. Best of luck with your car.

    Why not ask Kenneth DeVries who redid that 78 New Yorker in Texas? He must know what to use. Or contact 3M as they probably make everything you'd need?
