Update from Quirey Quality Design on Washer Bottles for Fuselage Cars

Indeed, but perhaps an interesting exercise anyway, I seem to recall a thread or post where someone stated they'd got their system working again but that may have been the later Auto Temp 2 system. My main thought is that nearly 60 years on it can't be that difficult to sort out old technology...

Update from Quirey Quality Design on Washer Bottles for Fuselage Cars

Great information about restoration parts availability and suppliers. Now if only someone could sort out the Auto Temp 1 system as I'm sure there are folks who wish their systems could be restored to function as designed. It would be quite a job I suppose, but someone with the determination of...

    Looking for feedback 1972 Monaco

My thoughts are to use high detergent oil at least initially as it will gradually clean the gunk from your engine and reveal reality so you can replace anything which leaks. Some say doing so will "cause leaks" but reality is that a leaky engine already has issues needing repairs, oil won't...

    Looking for feedback 1972 Monaco

Maybe you can negotiate the price, but, if you really like it and can make it a long-term project, just buy it, the enjoyment and satisfaction you gain will stay long after the price is forgotten. Good luck. Like I say, you seem to like it, so do the deal, check her out and if happy, trailer...

Possible Green S/23 Or GT On Youtube?

Well done, would have been easier to scrap it but with a modern V-10 it'll be great. Best wishes for your build and not too many problems along the way.

    Introducing a 1970 300 TNT convertible

As for the photos, maybe photoshop or similar can remove the original owner if that man was concerned about his privacy.

    Introducing a 1970 300 TNT convertible

Despite requiring work to get up to spec and everything functional again after 35 years sitting, the original owner took good care of it by keeping it safely inside. I wish you much joy and happiness with this beautiful convertible, it couldn't have gone to a better owner with the right...

Perhaps Dirk could assist any member who'd like to import a RHD C body to the US or Canada as I recall comments being made, now that we have a South African contact.

    1969-74 South African Chrysler 383

I'd make a thread help wanted explaining the issue and see what happens- with my then Lincolns I made a post inquiring about parts and was given the name of my friend - someone here must be able to help you.

    1969-74 South African Chrysler 383

Most suppliers probably don't want the hassle of overseas shipping. I suggest inquiring whether a member is willing to assist as that was how I met my good friends in Wisconsin. Personally I used PayPal as that was virtually immediate. I'm sure some nice member/s will assist you.

    1969-74 South African Chrysler 383

Dirk, the all silver tag is the data tag listing what the car was built with such as model, paint color, trim color, assembly date etc etc. The Certicard identified the original purchaser and was used when taking the car to the dealership for service and/or repairs. Hope this helps. Cheers...

FUSELAGE Auto Transport NC-CA Any / All Leads!

They were excellent when I shipped my Aussie Ford to the 2014 MCACN show, collected in California, delivered to Illinois then onto NY for the trip home. Just as the name says, otherwise they'd be out of business.

FUSELAGE Auto Transport NC-CA Any / All Leads!

Personally I'd use Reliable Carriers as they must have regular trucks between both coasts. Probably not the cheapest but as they carry multi million dollar cars they'll take good care of yours.

There is lots of information on the website of the online imperial club - www.imperialclub.com Click on imperials by year, then 1970, where a service overview manual covering 1965 to 1972 is listed under Repair Literature. Perhaps the information you require is listed there. Best wishes with...
