Randalls autohaus in Appleton WI sorted out my auto temp system, don't know how much of a pain it was to fix.

Lovely, the auto temp 11 system tester is available, someone was offering a couple for sale recently.
When I had Lee my 73, a member whose name escapes me lent one to my mechanic and the system was fixed.
Wishing you lots of happy miles together.
Indeed it is as you found the right shop to do the job, got a quality job, and more importantly got all parts back.
Now what's next- paint, upholstery, wiring, engine- driving.
This would be another challenge for our architect friend Javier as he's already straightened the 'unstraightenable" bumpers on his New Yorker, and repaired his ATC system.
Indeed, probably intending a color change but didn't complete it. Lots of idiots out there, but probably with a complete respray you'll have your beautiful imperial back to her stunning best.
It makes sense the wiring loom is identical whether or not your beloved power vents were fitted. Probably has connections for every accessory.
Happy motoring
Maybe it's time for those who love these cars to start their own show?
My friend Bob Ashton started the MCACN show back in 2009 with backing from friends who believed as he did that such a show would be a hit
Perhaps there are those who could start a "luxury" car event, must be lots of potential?
I suggest you look at the information on the 1966 page of the online imperial club website- no decoder but lots of literature that may be of interest.
Good luck with your 66.
