    Rare 1972 Imperial restoration!

Wow I didn't know that, I figure it's good to have them next to each other. That reveals some finer details that are different. I also reckon that you're right concerning the emission stuff...

    Rare 1972 Imperial restoration!

The 73 can be viewed as a face lift to use a modern term. Structural things are the same, just very few minor changes have been made (e.g. different grille, different trail light lenses, better sounds deadening/ insulation for 73. The all new chromoter clock). So 5x5 bolt pattern is still valid...

    Amber the 1972 Imperial Restoration

are you sure you want to send this into a body & paint shop ? From my understanding you were also considering buying another 4 door that´s been for sale lately ( don´t find the thread now but I´m somewhat sure I´ve read your name there ). You have to realize that every dollar you drop into a 4...

    Rare 1972 Imperial restoration!

Wow nice car, B1 blue car with blue vinyl top and optional blue bucket seats and tilt steering column. Being a 2 door this is already a rare car but with this color combo and being nicely optioned it is very rare. Good luck with the restoration. Do you have all parts or is something missing...

    70 SFGT

You see the difference if you compare original and redone next to each other. Once installed you won´t really recognize the difference. Pattern and trim are spot on. Don´t know about the material but I´ld be pleased with the result as it is !

1971 Chrysler Newport Custom 383, rebuilding in Europe

That´s what I did as well. I tried to go with a dual spring set up but it increased the pressure that much that it became uncomfortable to drive on a longer journey. So I went back to a single spring, brand new hoping that the quality is good and not having to deal with unexpected material...

1971 Chrysler Newport Custom 383, rebuilding in Europe

That retaining spring set up looks weird to me! Is that the position it´s supposed to be ? At my car there´s no tension on the spring as long as the throttlepedal is untouched. As soon as you push the pedal it´ll extend. The one at your carburator seems to be extended permanently so it might...

1971 Chrysler Newport Custom 383, rebuilding in Europe

For sure one of the best restorations I've seen so far on this board (and other too) plus one the fastest also by someone who's not doing it for a living

    1970 Sport suburban

Either do it right or leave it alone, no half *** s"*t, I like that approach. It'll pay off when finished

    1970 Sport suburban

440 in it is a game changer, I like the fact that you keep the engine stock looking from the outside with the correct air cleaner etc. With that drivetrain it really becomes a SPORT suburban. Great job keep those pictures coming:thumbsup:

    1970 Sport Fury GT B5

That one is really high on my list as well but I always get caught on those bulky rear quarters. They don´t seem to fit the cars overall design

1971 Chrysler Newport Custom 383, rebuilding in Europe

I had BF Goodrich on m my car but never had a clue why they're so expensive.. If you want to have white letters I can recommend General Grabbers... General Tires is from UK I think, so you might save a few bucks on shipping. @Elcaine has them on his SportFury, looks decent on a fuselage 1970...

1971 Chrysler Newport Custom 383, rebuilding in Europe

maaan that sucks. you´re really fast progressing with all your bodywork etc but then these stupid companies hold your progress back, that has to be frustrating. but anyways keep going, it´ll look fantastic
