    Funny, I thought Jeff Foxworthy had an American truck! Regarding OP's question, I backed my wagon onto steel ramps. They're high enough that I could roll under the back of the car all the way to the muffler. I could also reach from the side (though it helps that I have long arms).

    My wagon is a teetotaler, too! Iowa and Nebraska are big into ethanol. However, we can still get nonalcoholic gas here, which is the only kind they sell with high enough octane.

    I have a '96 Dakota that gets about 17 whatevers per gallon. The only problem I have with the trip-odometer method is if I'm light on cash and don't fill the tank up completely, or if I forget to reset the damn trip odo at fill-up time.:BangHead:
