    Come to think of it, I’ve got a Dodge Dakota that started scoring the left rotor while the right side was still good. Granted, though, that this truck had about 180,000 miles on it, so I can’t rule out other problems (alignment, f¥€ked-up prior brake job, etc.,) unrelated to make and model.

    As an eight-year-old, my “falling in love with” the brand-new “Formal” Chrysler T&C turned into an obsession that the killjoy grownups around me tried to pathologize and vanquish. Now I’ve got a 2.5-ton, civilized alternative to a :icon_fU: in my driveway!

    A ’69 Polara looks really good in damn near any color, IMO - ones that I don’t even like on other Mopar models. An unhinged group is where I best fit in! Welcome! I like your avatar. I love all kinds of furry animals - a seemingly incompatible interest with the car hobby. :p

    Why is that? Do C-bodies have a quirk that causes the left-side hardware to wear out faster - thus requiring frequent replacements that deplete the stores’ inventories?

    ksc, you have quite a project there! The body looks solid (accuracy of my assessment limited by looking at the business-card-size pix on my iPhone). Glad it’s gonna be saved. On the subject of U-joints, is there a good way of judging their condition without dismantling anything?
