    1973 Newport/ New Yorker blueprints

Not to be a killjoy, but I wonder why the ’67 “300” blueprint shows a New Yorker for the four-door.

    Pics of 69-73 C bodies

    Damn.

How many 1970 300 convertibles are left in the USA?

Too few IMO! But seriously, I would love to have access to survivorship stats on classic Mopars. Wow! Little I can add that hasn’t been stated already.

    Pics of 69-73 C bodies

That really is too bad, such a nice-looking NYer. The body looks reasonably solid within the detection limits of the photos. Febreze can do only so much. I’m assuming mold…or do we blame the dog?

Love that shade of yellow! If I’d have been there, I would’ve needed serious sunscreen to avoid ending up as red as the F-150 on the other side of the Barracuda!

I park by Smart cars for the hell of it.

    Top Speed/Comfortable Cruising Speed

My guess is 80 mph with my T&C—wavering speedo needle forcing a guesstimate. The factory TQ has seen better days. It has been running better at high speed than at idle.

    Sweet!

    Rescued Just in Time!

That’d be a sad discovery, if the salvage car was your grandfather’s.

    Rescued Just in Time!

I would’ve loved to have the window sticker from my T&C. (However, I spent decades thinking, “I’d love to have a T&C,” so I can’t complain.) I haven’t looked for the broadcast sheet yet, but I have found small trivial things from “back in the day” that I’ve saved.

    Large and In Charge

Unlike many new cars, in which case knocking off the hideous stuff would leave you with just the engine, seats, windows, and tires!

    Rescued Just in Time!

What does sales code Y14–Solo Car (Sold Car?) mean? I’ve never seen that before.

    The weaponization of the DMV

Google coughed up plenty of results (mainstream media, not conspiracy websites) to back this up. I was going to post some examples, but they were yucky enough that even pictures of new Toyotas could work as eyebleach. When I moved back to Nebraska from Iowa, the license office gave me my...

My New Preferred Whitewalls for C Bodies

I agree on the name “Nexen” looking more period-correct than “Hankook,” since I don’t remember the latter’s car tires being imported in the Seventies. I think Ma Mopar puts Nexens on some new vehicles. (Based only on parking-lot observations.) I’m not a big fan of charcoal gray; however...

    1969-74 South African Chrysler 383

And if I had won that billion-dollar lotto jackpot last week, maybe one of these Chryslers would’ve ended up stateside.

    1970 Chrysler New Yorker FP6

My smart-*** answer to the OP’s question: “Not nearly enough of them!” More seriously, it’s too bad that the stats aren’t available. Beautiful car!

    Pics of 69-73 C bodies

I need to take a photo of my T&C parked next to a coworker's smart fortwo. Wrong generation of Mopar for this thread, but it's hard not to LOL at the sight!

    Luggage rack C-body !?

Where else can the luggage go if you've got bodies in the trunk? Sorry... I couldn't resist. Halloween is coming, after all.

Lets Play A Game: Last Of The Convertibles

Love the interior on that Plymouth. You just can't get that kind of color in a new car anymore. The body lines make Fusie convertibles some of the loveliest automobiles of the past 50+ years. I'd take one over a lot of "more prestigious" contemporaries. It's too bad that Ma Mopar...

Who thinks they can save this 1973 Fury III

Don't know what kind of car hit it, but maybe you wouldn't have much to work with!!
