Corsair for sale - Yours for 3.5 Million

We took a beating in the early pacific conflict and the navy was hesitant using them on carriers when they first came on to the scene. You couldn’t see **** & they had to change the landing gear a bit. It just would have been nice to have them at midway against Japan’s most seasoned pilots...

Corsair for sale - Yours for 3.5 Million

The Corsair is definitely the 69 charger Daytona of the WW2 prop fighters. Too bad it came to the party late for island hopping & sweep up duty. Would have loved to see them go toe to toe with Japan’s best.

    WWII birds

I got a chance to take a look into the cockpit of a Corsair as a youngster and saying , where the heck is the seat? That must be pretty rough flying. I remember guys in the black sheep squadron tv show, hopping in and out of them like the Duke boys. But thanks to the History channel I’ve seen...

Cause of weak spectator turnout at Carlisle?

That overhead shot reminds me of last year when I took the family (first time for any of us) and remembered feeling like a kid in Willy Wonka’s factory soon to realize how overwhelming that place can be between the heat & the prices of parts that were on your top 10 mental wish list. Came home...

Did Some Sleuthing on the Reproduction Mopar Washer Bottles for 70-73 C Bodies

I wish they placed the rest of them in a better spot like that. There’s too much engine heat & runaway elbows in that spot. I don’t see the other mopar models having the drying & cracking issues as bad. Maybe you don’t because replacements are more available for theirs. I’ve had a couple formals...

    RIP George H W Bush

Most kids do figure it out as they make a living and realize what it’s all about. It’s some of the nut job grandparents that want to re kindle the flames of 1968 that’s the problem. There’s no hope or help for them. Lol. Re kindle 1968 with a car, not with politics.

    RIP George H W Bush

You hit the nail carmine. Half of the lefts anger is that the right didn’t roll out another polite country club Boy Scout to get mowed down. A whole generation of kids who have never been called out before. The by product however comes with a lot of un presidential behavior that turns a lot of...

    RIP George H W Bush

Im not crazy about the bush or Clinton dynasty’s either but He was the last of the real men presidents we will ever have. That’s not even an argument. People who worry about Trump crack me up. They should be worried about the **** show that will follow him from both sides. It will never be the...

    2 1989 Dodge Dakota Shelby Trucks - $10000 (Harpswell)

Yeah, I agree. I’ve got a red & white of my own in mass. After 30 years I doubt there original. But who cares? There not worth **** in Shelby terms but fun as hell to drive. Bought my white one new at age 19 & my red one that I bought in 08 as a parts truck. Life’s Circumstances turned it into...
