    Over Heating Issues

Simple, your running a 22 1/2" X 18 1/2" in front of a big block! What the hell was Mopar thinking? I did the same thing as suggestions above and more on my 65 SF; put in a Griffin Radiator (which was sold as OEM specifications - untrue and a big mistake) added a serpentine set up, changed to...

    Hot engine after rebuild

Not true! Broke an alternator/fan belt when the alternator locked up on my previous 65 SF back in 69, qualifies me as “an old timer, in Minneapolis when it was -20- and it overheated very quickly. It was a Saturday afternoon and no place for repairs. I watched the temperature gauge and my...

Thanks, ordered! Owning a Mopar really gets expensive compared to the expensive cars where the parts are cheaper but then again, who wants what everybody else has!!!

    66 383 Dyno numbers

Did you have to install an adapter for your Kick down with the AVS 2 carburetor and if so, where did you get it and do you have the part number. I installed the same on my 383, need an adapter but don’t know the what and the were. Thanks.

No Oil To Top of Engine.

Once we started the project, we started with the most easiest and most obvious and went from there with the hope we did not have to pull the engine. Given the bad luck we have had with the whole process and no longer having faith in those that went before, we were not going to leave any rock...

No Oil To Top of Engine.

As requested by Jengel451, problem identified and resolved. The shop/person completing the restoration requested a friend who is a Mopar expert of 40 years to assist. Step #1 = Spun NEW oil pump; no pressure registered on testing gauge. Pulled pump. Bad pump; purchased new and installed...

    5 speed conversion

DON'T do it! I have a 66 GTO and the prior owner switched out the 4 speed for a Tremec 5 speed! Terrible, Terrrible mistake. First gear USELESS and to much spread between 4th and 5th. My question, why would you want to go through all that trouble and expense and to gain what?
