    300-H HURST nerd stuff...

Bought car on Ebay for $1000 in 2001, put 18K into it so far. So not worth much. Maybe I was being too paranoid. So fine, Number is 194407, VON#J99478. I don't know how you want to classify it. Car was abused then abandoned in junkyard before I got it. I've done many subtle changes...

    300-H HURST nerd stuff...

Here's mine. (I read its easier to steal/change ownership of a car by knowing the VIN....so yep, I'm paranoid.) I guess I have the earliest Hurst in this thread? (oh boy, did I win anything?...yay for me) Can anyone tell me why the "9" looks so weird? It's a little darker and not lined up.

    300-H HURST nerd stuff...

Wondering if someone can tell me where these 6 way power seats came from? Stamp states FT6, but build sheet has "Imp Special Int" written on build sheet. Build sheet paper is rotted out where interior code is. I bought my car from a NJ junkyard. The door skins were same valor but was like...

    My unexpected Hurst 300 Find

20yrs ago, I found Ford Thunderbird steel covers are very similar. (forgot which yr). Bought from junkyard for $20. Painted SEM (had to paint almost entire interior SEM from sitting in junkyard for decades). SEM Interior paint still looks great. No one notices. My car will never win any...

    My unexpected Hurst 300 Find

See my post below. Hope you have better luck. Supposedly, the later mopar steel ones work, but those are $175. And after trying a number of alternatives which all failed, I went with a manual one...

Gas Monkey gets a Three Hundred.

A hollywood friend of mine said most of these cars already have an owner or buyer before anything is done to it. The owner designs the car, or approves what they want, and these shows are just assembly. The owner gets a break on the price but only if they sign off stating they can't say...

1969 300 CONVERTIBLE GLASS REAR WINDOW

Not sure but I think the original had a slight curve like in pic. Car ad said car is a survivior and all original, but he could have had top replaced. What does your look like?

Some pictures of my bud's '70 Hurst 300

I like Stangs, (even with multiiple front ends.) I think with today's high chrome prices, the needed safety regulations and low incomes forcing people to buy one vehicle that can do everything (suv's and trucks), todays designers are all out of ideas.

Some pictures of my bud's '70 Hurst 300

I think I had to remove the license plate and stick my hand way up there to turn the sockets. Everything is brittle on these old hags, so I tried to be gentle. I remember they looked clean but if you turn the sockets enough, they will glow great again. Another cheap thing I did was to clean the...

Some pictures of my bud's '70 Hurst 300

Common Chrysler problem is for a few of the lights to look dim or not work at all (your pass rear). If the bulbs are the same and fine, Fix is to disconnect battery, get pliers under the rear bumper and rotate the socket assemblies. They rust and get loose which gives a weak ground. After...
