    1969 Imperial Carpet

Can you heat up the new carpet backing with a heat gun and then press with your hands on the carpet side to form around the seat belt? The heat gun I describe would not be a hair dryer.

    Convertible Water Management

It is no different than a car with a sunroof. My '78 New Yorker St Regis Coupe and my '05 Buick Park Avenue both with sunroofs have two drain tubes that go through the front pillars. Then can get plugged with the bacteria over time of water and must be cleaned out or find water on your front...

You could talk to Legendary again to see if they can do anything for you but if really sure that is the way it came and you want to pay, go see an upholster about getting the black insert into the seat.

Floor Mat Recommendation - 1970 Fury

To this date I have found no one that reproduces vinyl floor mats for vintage cars of our types. The best bet is to visit in person a salvage yard with older vehicles. Look at the full sizes car of any make for floor mats left inside. I have tried to contact current floor mat companies to be...

    Steps to troubleshoot speedometer

White lithium grease is what I used on my '79 Dodge Magnum last year. But equally important is the comparison of the speedo cable. Mine upon close inspection found a small part of the tip of the cable going to the speedometer broke off. Thus, the replacement must be slightly longer to work...

Thumb Wheel Instrument Panel Dimmer Switch

Before you go to this level...as always start simple....try spraying electrical contact cleaner inside the switch. You would be surprised what is built up in there for decades.

    Foot Switches

There is no electrical pump attached or near the jiffy jet washer bag. The switch is fairly high off of the floor so I would say vacuum.
