Just found these 56 series plates
available.

I guess this means there was a
PLY 225,318,361,383,413,426,440
I think I will pick these up for my 61.
Is there a guide anywhere to letters/numbers and year as to when plates were issued?
IE, This 56 series plate would have been issued in what year starting with letter V
This 63 series plate would have been issued in what year with letter Y ?
This plate 066 AAA is among the earliest number known.
Long ago I removed this plate off a 74
Impala bumper that was crushed and stacked on flatbed on its way to scrapyard.

Saw manufacturing dates on machines. I inquired about using such vintage equipment and their answer was WAAAAY better then the new machines with burned up irreplaceable green boards…….
I have a vintage miller matic 250.
It has 3 settings
on/off
Wire Speed.
Heat control.
Simple operation,It never gives me any problems if I maintain it.
I prefer equipment that pre dates computer green boards.
As far as body flex goes!
Not quite sure about a fusey conv,but on a 61 Plymouth conv
there is long thick reinforced plate inside rocker panel to stop
body flex. Conv only,, not found on sedans and coupes.
Whenever you use WD-40 ever notice how the propellant runs out and your stuck with 1/3 full can that you can't use?
I had a can of some factory Rotunda Ford spray that was the best in loosening bolts.

I have a Chrysler master key set. Tag says 56 to 68.
I just used it today to generate a ignition key for a 65 Chrysler 300.
100 different Chrysler keys.
Sorry,though I wouldn't loan it out,but if you send me the ingnition lock I will try these on it and make you a copy.
The 60-64 coupe ply,dodge,Chryslers all seem to have the rust out problem from the door jam back. There are no repops available. The main rocker will work from a 4dr,but will have to cut down a little. I actually have the door jam on back on a 63 coupe parts car. UnfortunatelyI'm going...
