    Wheels

The Jeep wheels are a different offset. They will not look right. Stick with 15X7 wheels from an M Body. The original M Bodys came with either P205/75R15 or P215/70R15. Considering the Fury is bigger I'd go with P225/70R15.

    Interior

So, I went to see the car. What a disappointment. The restoration was very poorly performed. I should have expected it. Why would someone butcher the interior, yet do a good restoration? Very poor fit and finish, rusty bumpers, a lot of plastic and chips all over a poor quality repaint. Not only...

    Interior

I think the seat covers are wrong. I'm planning to go see the car next week. It will be interesting to see what else the "restorer" did.

    Interior

I know cloth interiors were available in "closed body" cars. I am specifically talking about a convertible.

Would anyone know if material seats were available in a 1962 Newport convertible?

    1968 Plymouth Fury Features

I "googled" for photos and agree, it must have been the early one. I remember when the 68 went to "lay down" hood ornaments. My Dad always rented a Plymouth Fury for us to go on vacation. I always loved looking at the hood ornament when we drove. Although 68 is my favorite year Fury, I was...

    1968 Plymouth Fury Features

In 1968 the Fury had a "lay down" hood ornament. I don't see it on the feature car. Perhaps the Sport Fury didn't use it?

    QUIET mufflers??

I too like the stock sound. I found the top-of-the-line Walker to work well. Don't forget to see if you car originally had a resonator.

    1968 300 Hood Ornament

I became a Plymouth Fury "junkie" in the 60's because my Dad always rented a Fury from Avis for us to go on vacation. I remember in 68 the Fury's hood ornament laid flat instead of the "stand up" style from the 67. Considering Big_John saying the regulation began in January 1968 is it possible...

Early disc brake wheels, dog dish size?

I have 2 of these. They were in the trunk of a Gran Fury I bought years ago.

Early disc brake wheels, dog dish size?

I have a set of 15" that take the larger diameter hub cap. I think they are AMC wheels. I was told they are OEM Chrysler but have no identifying marks. They fit fine on my 62 Dodge and took the larger cap however, I had 4-wheel drum brakes. Don't know if they fit disc brake cars.

    Parasitic battery drain 66 300

BTW: After a being a longtime Sears appliance customer....I am done! Sears has totally gone to sh*t! Their Master Protection Agreement is worthless at this point. Their integrity has gone down the drain too. Sad but true.

    Parasitic battery drain 66 300

HA! I had one of those wonderful LG refrigerators sold by Sears as a "Kenmore Elite". The milk and food on the top shelf would spoil quickly. I kept blaming my Wife and Son for leaving the door open too long. Shortly afterwards the lens on the light warped like a potato chip. There was a "fix"...

    14" or 15" wheels on a 66 300

I have a set of 14" wheels from a 1962 Dodge if you are interested

    65 fury pursuit

Very nice find. It's interesting how Chrysler used those wheels up to 68. My guess is that is the only 15" wheel until the 69's with the smaller diameter hub cap. If you plan to change them I would be interested in the wheels and hub caps for my 62 Dodge Police car project.
