Anyone jack up half a car?

One thing you should be aware of when lifting a car from one side is not to open the doors until both sides are up and supported by jack stands. It is possible to throw the door out of alignment.

So this is happening on this FINE Saturday afternoon...

Make sure you replace any rubber lines in the fuel system, if the ones from the vents, or fuel sending unit by the tank are original they may be cracked and drawing air into the system causing a loss of prime in the fuel system.

1973 Polara - maintenance advice for a noobie

As always great advice from Mr Davea Lux! If I may add my .02, the 15w 40 diesel from Walmart, Supertec seems to do the job just fine. The Walmart Supertec oils seem too rate pretty good and will save you some $. I also substitute a quart of Duralube with my oil change, she seems too like it.

    Ethanol discussion

I have been using the Wal-Mart 2cycle marine oil in my 1990 Honda Accord for about 3mos and I have noticed a definite increase in fuel mileage, about 10%. on Long island there are no ethanol. free gas stations. The price of reg unleaded is about $2.83 a gallon locally. The other night I...

67' 300 side pipes, yay or nay

If you do get them make sure you get the longer ones. I put them on a 66 impala and didn't realize that they came in different lengths and I ended up with the short ones and I was not pleased with the look. Other wise I do like the look and sound. I had a pair on a 64 Riviera back in High school...
