Max wedge vs HP manifolds vs Headers Test!!

I didn't watch the second video yet, but I think that in all cases, if you put a full exhaust on those motors, the max power difference achieved with the various headers/manifolds/etc. will be reduced. So for instance, in the first video the headers provided +74ft-lb peak torque over the HP...

Heat Riser - Free or Keep Frozen?

Regarding the exhaust cross-over through the intake. Years ago I experimented with blocking off mine and I recall it actually seemed to decrease WOT power a little bit with it blocked off -- but that was with dual exhaust and no crossover pipe. So presumably the intake crossover was reducing...

Heat Riser - Free or Keep Frozen?

If it were me and I didn't have a particular reason to keep the car totally stock, I'd get rid of the whole dang thing, thread the two holes and put bolts in them or braze them closed. One less doohickey to worry about causing trouble down the road...

Has anyone ever tried something like this with the stock log exhaust manifolds?

Yeah, I'm sure it wouldn't be optimal in terms of turbulence, scavenging, etc. as compared to headers. It'd be more of a thing to try "just because" and to be unique. I did read that welding cast iron takes some extra care to prevent cracking. Mainly that you have to preheat the piece to...

sorry for the 3 duplicate images. I tried to edit and delete two of them but could not for some reason...

Has anyone ever tried something like this with the stock log exhaust manifolds?

This was just a quick mock-up of an idea I had of taking two sets of manifolds, cutting them and welding them into a dual-outlet setup. Why? Better flow than stock w/o the headaches and noise of headers...maybe. And to be unique and different :) Would require some custom piping of course...

Anyone running Accurate Exhaust Products' C-body muffler?

That does have a nice sound. And that Bluesmobile is AWESOME! I'd love to know the story of your car build. Do you have a thread on this forum somewhere with some background?

Anyone running Accurate Exhaust Products' C-body muffler?

I like what I'm hearing about the Accurate mufflers. Any other feedback or opinions?

Anyone running Accurate Exhaust Products' C-body muffler?

Going to be installing dual exhaust on our 300 this spring and I'm trying to decide on a muffler. I'd like something that would be a little more growly than stock, but definitely want to keep the exhaust note at a level where we don't have to compete against it when talking in the car. Also...
