Power seat and 4 channel amp

Sorry I can't help because I got something switched around in mine, so some directtions are incorrect. I did get the power correct just the joystick did correspond with the correct movement of the seat. I hooked mine up to a battery with alligator clips before I ever attached the seat.

    Power Seat Rebuild Question

I think you are right. I was fortunate that mine wasn't to rusty and it must have came apart pretty easy. I must have never taken a picture of it torn down. If I cleaned it and put it right back together I didn't take pictures.

    Power Seat Rebuild Question

I was able to locate my old pictures. I did not take it apart any further than you have right now. All I can say is it runs effortlessly now, so advance any further in the teardown at your own risk. It didn't seem to hurt my performance at all. Mine would barely move beforehand, and never...

    Power Seat Rebuild Question

Now I understand. I really thought it did. This evening I will go through and see if I have a detailed picture. I know I did not remove any cotter pins during the restoration, so it is possible I just soaked it in diesel, blew it out with compressed air and then packed it with new grease.

    Power Seat Rebuild Question

I never separated the top gear from the bottom worm gear, I honestly don't see the point and won't take the chance of damaging it. I just disassembled cleaned it up and then put it back together with white lithium grease.

66 Chrysler 300 Chrome Removal from Seats?

I believe you are talking about the aluminum. They will be a whole different animal to restore. You need a guy who can hammer out any small dents and then buff. I believe they are riveted in place, and the reason mine have never been addressed.

    Door panel progress

Wow those are beautiful! If I remember correctly you really didn't want to do this, clearly if you wanted a side business to your leather work, there would be tons of guys that would kill for a set of panels like those.

Here is a good place to start, and give you an idea what you are getting into. Power seat and 4 channel amp The nice thing is you have 2 so in theory you could tear one down and still have the other for reference, but I would still only tear down each piece individually. Be very methodical and...

Correct 66 300 carpet heel pad

Craig it has been a while now, but I know I basically gave up trying to remove them from the carpet. I don't know what they used but it was definitely secured very tight and never even got a loose edge.

Correct 66 300 carpet heel pad

I searched extensively when I replaced mine several years ago and did not find any. I would be very surprised if it was available anywhere now. It was a cool heavy-duty feature, I was trying to figure out how to incorporate the old but never did. Still cut out in a box somewhere in my garage.

    1966 300 Upholstery

Yes and that sounds about right. If you get a good upholstery guy they can reproduce the seat covers, but the good ones you may wait that long too, but worth looking into. One reason I like the upholstery shop is the stitching in the seats are real and have so much more covering material to...

The place I use is called Metal Brite in Dayton, Ohio. They are a family owned business around for 30 years, no website just a phone number. 937-278-9739 You should be able to send a picture and get a quote. I have sent several pieces of pot metal over they years, always happy with their work.
