    The SAGA Begins - '66 300 Convertible

I never thought about it but basically the same exact thing happened to me. It wasn't long after the push rod needed replaced. Sounds like anyone replacing the cam should go-ahead and replace the push rod at the same time.

    The SAGA Begins - '66 300 Convertible

The photos are awful and distorted looking through the rear window. The hardboard goes to the top over the speaker opening. The bottom is uncover because there is a moisture catcher, which is sort of like a hammock. Do you have this item? I don't know what it is called. Mine is original. The...

That is a huge understatement. I love to see your kid's interest too, you obviously have a wealth of knowledge. Great to see the next generation, in your corner of the world, will be passing on some of that knowledge too.

    The SAGA Begins - '66 300 Convertible

Thanks for updating us on the interior and the original owner story. I love to know the history of anything older which I might own. I had a similar experience with finding Goldie's original owner. Now I need to actually meet up with her kids. Seems like something I need to do this summer.

After I posted that I wondered about you climate. Yes 110F is a little hot in a convertible, and you are just hitting spring now correct? Wow what are your highs in the summer? I don't drive mine much above 90F unless I can keep the car moving and not be in traffic.
