The infamous 4-spd 76 New Yorker. Ask me anything.

If you could narrow it down, what was the single biggest PITA of the conversion?

    1977 New Yorker

I have a boat where the spare was stored on the vinyl seat. I tried everything nothing would get that stain out, unfortunately probably the same for leather. Too bad.

Formal rear bumper reflectors... Brand New.

Once work is less crazy and weekends start to get freed up, and Goldie is put away for the winter, I'll be ready. That's usually around the first of November. Still very motivated to reproduce lens.

I was going to say I thought John Ritter was a spokesman for Lincoln.:poke:

Formal rear bumper reflectors... Brand New.

Cantflip has expressed my thoughts well, I want to provide a quality lens at a fair price. The first guy will unfortunately pay the most for the cost of the mold too, but I would like to charge a consistent price. I have no plans to buy lens myself and reproduce them. In an ideal world, we...

Formal rear bumper reflectors... Brand New.

I thought I would step in here and give you a little overview. I am interested in making lenses to provide a service to our c-body community which gets ignored all the time. This is a hobby, if the lens is provided by anyone else big or small I have no interest in reproducing a product someone...

    Windshield wiper bushing cast

So I understand is the outer plastic the only thing that falls? If so does it snap into place around the rest of the piece? Is there multiple plastic moving parts?

    Windshield wiper bushing cast

That would be fine, especially smaller items which I could work in with the bigger lens. That's why the I thought of the bushings. I still want to focus on the lens, but interested in anything which is out of production. The big thing is having an original in good enough shape to replicate.

    Windshield wiper bushing cast

Great to hear I didn't know that there was a solution found already for the problem.

    Windshield wiper bushing cast

I dont etiher and heard you formal guys talk about it for years, even if you found one which wasn't broken, it would be hard and brittle and fail soon after installation. It is obvious a fatal flaw design. There are some hard rubber products which may work and be extremely durable. Even if...

    Windshield wiper bushing cast

Thought I could maybe make a better product. Check out the PMC 770, 780 or 790 product. Any thoughts? PMC® Series, Polyurethane Rubber Compounds

    Windshield wiper bushing cast

I would really like to help you formal guys out. I thought if one of you guys has a decent bushing that I could cast. I could make a simple single mold keep throwing it in with my bigger lens molds and then once I have six or eight cast I can make a big mold to pump these things out.

The world is now a better place - a new formal hits the road

I just want to clarify. The cars in the picture were all in storage and you pulled them all out for a photo shoot? Quite the fleet. Even more impressed with the work you did on the wagon with all the other cars in the collection.

Beautiful wagon awesome work. I try to block out of my mind what I have spent on Goldie, I have a big think folder of receipts, but never plan to total up the numbers. :)

    Black Box

That has to be it. If there is no longer a PA speaker, there is probably still the wiring or at least the holes from where it used to be

    Black Box

I have no guess, but I am curious if anyone knows the answer. First it must be after market or someone would have seen it before. Being around trailer brake controls all my life don't think it is that. Could it be some kind of early diagnostic/manipulation equipment for the ignition system...
