    If you could have

Mine would be a 1967 Imperial Crown Coupe, exterior color KK-1 Mist Turquoise Poly, interior silver leather, loaded mobile director. I would be happy with that.

Your thoughts on paint color change 1966 Imperial convertible

I personally would keep it in the orginal gold metallic. I think your orginal paint is probably dull and lost it's luster. I couldn't be happier with the fresh, now 10 years old, saddle bronze paint on Goldie.

Definitely a 3 person job. Sadly when I had my stepbrother and his son help. His son had no idea how to operate a ratchet. So Sad.

73 Imperial "McGoldy" to join the Minnesota herd.

My cousin had a scissor lift and hated it. He said it takes up too much space when not being used and was a lot of work to move it around.

So I bought this one today.

I agree around where I live, I mostly drive on 2 lane rural roads so the driver's side is always worse when there is no curb and the salt is dropped more central to the road too.

I painted my first car today!

I agree with this 100% you would be amazed at the difference. My first vehicle I sprayed was a work van. I had a bad orange peel and never touched it and was pretty happy. The next car I painted with similar results but cut and buffed it out huge difference and was very satisfied. Since then...

'64 Imperial Convertible - Record price?

I'd say he is trying to recoup 100% of the restoration plus. If he put $85000 or $100,000 in that Imperial he is currently dead, because his wife totaled up all his receipts. Now she is trying to sell it.

    1969 Imperial progress thread

You can't bury this work of art. Maybe build a garage mausoleum, with you sitting behind the wheel with a permanent smile on your face.

    1969 Imperial progress thread

If you have mentioned this before sorry, but is there someone who is going to inherited and love this car? It is clear to me it will out live pretty much everyone on this site. Unbelievable restoration execution!

Very impressive Matt, when you strip a car down you don't mess around.
