    I remember the spray on vinal "look" tops with the fake seems. Not as nice as a real vinal top, but a easy way to get the look of one. Top probably didn't rust underneath as much as a real vinal covering.

    You still can buy wrinkle finish spray paint. Most automotive stores carry it. It's best to warm the part before applying it. Great for air filter housings.

    Services like that are getting tougher to find any more. Likely would cost as much to rebuild as it will to replace.

    Just don't open the hood. It's a car show, not an engine show. You loose the flow of the design when the panels, (hood, doors, trunk lid), are open. To much clutter. Unless the engine compartment is detailed you going to get gigged anyways.

    That part is out there, don't get discouraged, it will come. There are much harder parts to locate than a 67 Ply quarter.

    Painting the air cleaner

    I prefer the crinkle/wrinkle look myself. Problem is the air filter cleaning instruction sticker doesn't like to stick to the wrinkle finish.
