    Quarter glass search

All 1969-70 C body convertibles share the same glass. Suggestions here should steer you to one. Note: You have a 69 SPORT Fury... Not a sports Fury

Poverty dishes or dog caps or whatever they are called

The larger diameter covers are called wheel covers. That's what they do. The smaller diameter covers are called hub caps. You need to keep the wheel covers in place on that car....IMHO It's a beauty...... And welcome.

    1969 Console, woodgrain or not?

I need to clarify my statement about the console top. Most 1969 C body's were of the fluted chrome but with a brushed aluminum insert in the top

    1969 Console, woodgrain or not?

Up to Jan 1st 1969 the chrome tulip knob is correct. Changed to the wood grain after that. The fluted chrome console top is correct on a C body. :)

    Convertible top slow to raise

I'm guessing low fluid, air in the lines or a leak. Full the pump to the top of the hole and cycle the top several times. If it lowers without any issue then the joints are probably ok. If the header latch's latch with little effort then the top is not likely to tight.

    Jack it up?

The long shackles are dangerous and reduce stability, and the air shocks pumped up will eventually damage the upper shock mount. Springs are designed to support weight ...... shocks absorb joust. You want height...... buy a dump truck.

    RIDE HEIGHT

My Polara is going in for a alignment Thursday. The ride height will be adjusted then. I measure at the rocker pinch flange just before the rear tire and behind the front tire. I'm looking for 1" lower in the front. This will compensate for passenger and trunk load. I never did find a height...

1971 Evening Blue Metallic Chrysler 300

Beautiful car. "Attention to detail to achieve an all original appearance. Of course the car is kept that way, as the really cool cars don't need any modifications" Well said, couldn't have said it better myself.

    Yet another tire question

Best to go with the 235 70 15's. Cooper Trendsetter white walls would be the better choice IMHO.

Do I need to let my new top stretch?

I have to respectfully disagree.... Top should be lowered with the GLASS window zipped in place, it was designed to work that way. It won't lay right and could be damaged if unzipped.

Do I need to let my new top stretch?

You can buy a cheaper top, but this is the best. I just bought a top for my 67 Polara, my third top from them. Will be installing it soon. The flat rate to install a C body top is 7 hours. Cost will depend on the shop labor rate. Usually upwards of $14/1500.00 total including the cost of the...

Do I need to let my new top stretch?

Park it in the sun when you can. I do that before I snap my boot in place.
