Fixed my ugly *** shop glasses with JB weld and bought my first Octoberfest beer. I know I shouldn't encourage all this "rush to the next season" thing but sometimes in october its all gone.

What are you working on today??

Put together a better dryer vent diverter to keep the warm moist air inside the house instead of wasting it outside. Lots of internet videos about this. I originally got the diverter box that just used the screen but that clogged quickly so took the screen off but that just coated everything...

Yes, nice job. Great instructions. Its not easy to remember to take a pics. This is in my future. Right now I have to replace my rear window only as it was broken by PO and then cut out poorly. If my window fix doesnt work then the whole top has to go. For your holes you need filled maybe...

What are you working on today??

I bought these to fit my 68 buckets. But my covers are a different style so I had to do a bunch of modifications to the foam. Still doing it actually. Guess I should have expected this with anything that is described for 3 body styles. But your style seats look like a better match to the foam...

Is there a Road worthy drip pan, band aid fix?

Road worthy is the problem. I had and explorer with a rear main seal leak and used a foil Pan and some binder clips to make a catch pan. Felt real sturdy until I started driving and saw it in the rear view mirror. I then used aluminum roof flashing on a roll which is my go to… because I have an...

What are you working on today??

Many years ago on a cold day I stopped at an office building for a meeting. Maybe an hour later I came back and started up the car only to hear several big loud thuds from under the hood. Shut her down and got out only to see a very alive cat that had got caught in the fan belt. He didn't last...

    Parasitic battery drain 66 300

As I learn about power seats I understand they are always hot/powered. If you have them perhaps the switch is off center or corroded. Unplug to test I guess

    Steering wheel

Perhaps something like this to keep both floor and seat track holes where they are but provide some adjustability. This Superstrut stuff is heavy 14 gauge steel and uses 1/2" mounting hardware. Or the channel itself but it will raise the seat a bit.

Anybody know where to get a PS pump brass seat?

I know you can get pump shims and I used break hose washers (Dorman HELP assortment) to try to get a lower/firmer pressure. There is/was an old article call "Pump it Down" that dealt with PS washers as related to pressures

    Rock Auto crap parts

Maybe this in not new but its new to me. Looks like there is an option that shows which items are the best choice - shipping cost wise - once you have other items in your cart. That is one of the biggest complaints that people have is adding a $5 part and a another $9 shipping cost gets added...

Which type of rust-proofing agent do you use?

Penetrol followed by Tractor Supply Majic oil based enamel for the inside and for underneath Penetrol + Rustoleum Satin black spray. For engine bay really just Rustoleum high heat gloss black spray paint after a good cleaning. Going strong for over 5 years. I dont drive much in the rain and...

    8 inch wheels on front

Sorry, no pics cuz its up on jack stands but my fronts are 17x8 and tires are 255/55/17 with 4" backspace (+12mm offset). Its close but no rubbing at all. Even during driving and cornering. I am confident that my changes from stock will not lead to serious highway failures but certainly I think...
