    Starter relay?

Thank you for the help everyone. It turned out to be the starter after all. I put it in 8 or 9 years ago and I never liked the sound of the starter drive.

Hi all, Since nobody seems interested in the green fury, I’ll guess I’ll rebuild the tranny. Should I replace the torque converter while doing the transmission or reuse it. Thank you.

    Rear axle leak

I adjusted the bearings and it seemed to take up a lot of play in the bearings. I took out the right side first and the left side. I cleaned them and looked at them and they seem to look ok but I did see a cut in the bearing race on the left side.

The numbers are stamped poorly. I found the number on my mopar.com but the 8 looks like a 3. I think the first two letters are DK.

    71 fury 727 tranny

Considering that the car has 139 thousand miles on it and without crawling underneath to check the numbers I'm guessing it's the original tranny I probably will have it rebuilt. I'll look for the numbers when it gets a little warmer here.

Where is the best place to get a complete rebuild kit from? Also I'm not sure if the car has its original tranny. Where and what numbers should I look for?
