    Weak Blower motor??

@furous70 is right about rebuilding your heater box. If you can control the air flow, the blower mtr can only produce so much air. I have rebuilt many heater boxes for 69-73 C body cars and properly adjusted they can supply more than enough air. As a caution, measure the amperage draw of the...

    R134 on top of R12

As far as I know there IS NO DROP IN REFRIGERENT. In my getting my certifications years ago I was told under no circumstances to mix 134A and R12. The properties of each refrigerant are quite different as 134a is more volatile than R12. Simply don't do it. AS for being flammable check the...

    Radiator recommendations

I agree w/ @Snotty, @FURYGT,@Davea Lux. My personal preference is to re-core. Inherent problems w/ the aluminum radiators is they can"t be serviced (re-corded). A short term fix. Aluminum radiators in long term service have problems w/ electrolysis which renders it a through away radiator.

Why no Vacuum at Heater Valve?

The 69-70 300 models were equipped with a time delay switch (as @Big John suggested) located behind the glove box next to the fresh air recirculating door actuator. If found unplugged or vac line(s) missing can cause no A/C actuator operation. Also degraded foam seals in the heater box will...

If it is letting a small amount of coolant though that means the sealing edges of the valve are eroding away. Can you still drive it, yes . Is it time for replacement. If one is now available, do it now.

m Extra care needs to be exercised in attaching nuts removal. Use lots of good penetrating oil, If they still won't move carefully cut the nuts off w/ a Dremel or the equivalent tool. If you don't breaking the heater box will happen. See photos. The stud brackets are riveted in, a seized nut...
