Thanks gents! I’m almost never as stoned as I look in that picture;) I’d be happy to help in any way I can but I’m so busy these days that I haven’t even had much time to work on my own cars.

I recently heard that all these new machines with their added computer style circuitry are filled with more problematic gremlins than the older machines. As far as power tools and machines go I will continue buying older used machines as I don’t like glitches that I can’t control.

I hope to finish the rest of the metal work by February so it can be painted this spring.

It is close but you can definitely see a difference quite easily. My paint was mixed to match the original and does quite well. You can see the new paint on the fender next to the old oxidized paint on the door.

I’d keep the hole size to a minimum and probably go with a stepped drill. There will be no issues welding the hole closed when you’re done.

I got my last new windshield gasket for a ‘67 Imp from Murray Park.

If you’re sure that the damage up front is just from being dragged by a chain at some point it’s probably fine but I would do a thorough inspection of all of the mounting points for rust issues before going much further.
