It was a hit and run, a stolen Chevy suburban was abandoned after the accident and the witnesses saw the driver fleeing the scene on foot. @SGT FURY had a copy of the police report that he shared with me a while back.

I can’t believe I’ve befriended one of the guys that used to own this car! It was parked and unattended when it was hit thankfully and I understand the force from the hit moved it quite a distance and when the owner showed up he was able to get in, fire it up and move it. It’s hard to see these...

There were only Budd disc brakes on’67/8 & 9 Imperials. No front drums.

If you haven’t already gotten them from previous posts of mine, I can provide you with a couple more. One from 1966 and two from 1964, or Imperials.

Glad I looked. The passenger mount in my convertible is shot so I’m just going to swap them out with the good set but that’s not going to happen anytime soon. I’m also going to hold on to the idler arm until I can really inspect the one on my ‘64 and again I won’t have time to do that anytime soon.

You can buy new engine mounts although I do understand they are pricey. I have one new and one used ‘66 rear engine mount and I’ll dig out my spare front mounts and see how they compare to the ones in both of my ‘64s.

Also sold is the belt trim for the fenders and doors.

The steering column and wheel are sold.

If @Stormin doesn‘t respond I have complete bases available but I won’t sell them for parts. I would however make a fair deal on a unit that really should be dismantled, cleaned and greased before being considered ready to install.
