    Slant six c body

This very car, except for silver, fenderskirts, and a 383-4 is what started my Fury fandom as a kid.

    Slant six c body

@48dodge This one looks to be wearing late 90s-early 2000s Ranger/Explorer rims?

Is that a Fury 2? The fender spear is slightly different in shape than what a F3 of SF would have. If a F2, that is quite rare to see in 2dr hardtop form.

Cat’s Out Of The Bag, ‘65 300L Manual Trans, A/C and More

I doubt that the springs were made to have a different rate in the leaves themselves, I'd bet that overall spring rate is done solely in the qty of leaves. I would say one spring is weaker than the other. I would not reuse a worn spring component simply to retain the numbers. While I've...

'67 Fury III Sport restore or restomod

We get a few of these threads per year. 'Bought my first C-body, don't know anything about them, and want to treat it all apart, remove the fabulous factory suspension's engineering, and turn this car into something it's not (nor will ever be).' Then the main question is 'tell me everything I...

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

There's a broad range on 'runs and drives' vs a proven-reliable driver. $thousands$.

You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a goober that thinks these 426 engines, or the 413s in the Chryslers, are MW engines.

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

My guess would be the -A, for use with transistors. That would mate with OEM electronic ign. And I think would work with points also. The -D is for capacitive discharge systems, which is not appropriate for OEM. I have no idea what the ign systems using the -B are.

And - that tach is awesome. Mount it to the dash pad, it's damaged already anyway.

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

There are 2 sizes, bigger and smaller (for car caps anyway, I'm ignoring the 3/4-ton truck caps). The one Mopar~man showed is the larger size, and fits 66(?) and older rims. 9" and 10" are the rough sizes of them IIRC. If you do some googling you can get the lay-of-the-land on them.

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

Kneel in the rear floorpan area, put your knee at the bottom edge of the seat, and hands on both sides. Push rearward and down, about 1-1/2" rearward, and then try to lift it up. There's a cross-rod on the seatframe going into this hook. Arrow is to the rear. They can be a PITA sometimes. Top...

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

Well, in the other models, the trunk pan serves as the catchpan... @cdmcclellan71 The flow-thru system is '67 only. I've seen the system up close (was on a car I parted-out many years ago) but not experienced the operation. Seems a really great idea in theory. If you can get it refurbished...

    Is this Monaco worth $2500?

You never know what hte next guy will decide. There are a lot of knuckleheads out there that won't recognize this as a 500, appreciate the rarity, and give the car sanctuary. They'll sell the drivetrain if they can't sell their mother first. After cursory review of the 69 Fury you posted, I'd...

    1965 Sport Fury Engine Replacement

Personally, I wouldn't bother rebuilding the original 383. You said it runs beautifully, and the crack is the only impetus to this project. See if the lockstitching kit I posted earlier will work. If so, fix the block, run it a bit to make sure it's good, and store it properly while you use...

If the shifter hump is missing, that's a 66-68 C-body-only piece, and not easy to find. Hopefully it's still there.

Agreed that 66 is a better match than 64 for body parts, but there are a TON of differences between 65 and 66 too. 64 would be a better choice for some things like door locks, console, armrests, though. If the guy in CA isn't fully familiar with the 65 Fury, each and every part would need to...

1968 New Yorker Valuation and opinions needed

Having owned both, I will say that my Fuseys seemed to corner flatter but the Slabs are more nimble-feeling due to being lighter. Depending on how tall you are, if you are ~6ft or less, you'll find the elbow rests much more comfortably on the top of a slab door during window-down summertime...
