    Distributor stuck

has a gear on the end if the shaft, so a slide hammer will not work with the shaft in. Man no idea without cracking the gear also.

    Engine Bogging?

Bet the orange box is bad. Still trouble shoot it instead of just throwing parts at it. Good book for it with just a meter https://www.forcbodiesonly.com/mopar-forum/threads/electronic-ignition-trouble-shooting-guide.80443/

As long as it is rated the right ohms for your system it is fine. A ECU definitely have to be matched for best performance.

What kind/brand of ignition system do I have?

That old system looks like a Accell conversion. Good for its day but forget about finding parts now. The New MP kits are a "licensed" product and made overseas, lots of issues with the ECU's and the distributors have a really fast curve in them more for the strip. To put a pertronix in you...

    Converting lean burn to non-lean

Yes I mostly rebuild Mopar distributors to stock specs but can do anything else. Have tons of ignition parts all tested and pre 2000. If needed I can make a clone for your engine. Most LB are locked out.

    Converting lean burn to non-lean

The new ones suck, half the time the orange ECU fails and it is all made overseas now find a pre 2000 one when they were still good. Wach out for the DC stuff that says "authorized or replaces."

    Converting lean burn to non-lean

Different distributor set up (Dist, ECU, Wiring for it) And a different carb basically. I have the ignitions stuff if needed.
