I am a big Fan of points they will usually last 10K miles. Just don't buy anything made after 2000, all junk bad metal, low spring tension etc. Condensers are junk also 50% fail rate I get from testing them.

Personally Edelbrock is mostly made overseas now Look at Cloyes on Amazon, prob cheaper.

Might want to do the fuel pump also if it is original. Definitely check the fuel pump rod length now since it is all right there. Just FYI

Get a good chain for that I like Cloyes myself. Looks in great shape so that means the engine was taken care of. That one is OEM and will skip a tooth eventually.

Those straps are OEM no issues with them actually better than a wire.
