1968 Fury Subframe reassembly pics needed

The service manual does not have an exploded view showing the subframe reassembly. The '69 manual does have a view like this but the subframe is different. Yes, I bolted the crossmember in first. Yes, I have all the hardware laid out. I have six shims, three per side. I am about 80% sure of...

Hey Guys, I have powdercoated the subframe for my 1968 Plymouth Fury II. I removed it a few years ago. All the hardware has been cleaned, the firewall cleaned and the floorpans. The next step is reassembly. Could you guys post some pics showing how the hardware reattaches the subframe to...

    Fire fire fire!

I put out a p/s hose fire on my fury in '93. I had been having radiator leaks and kept a 5 gal jug of water in the trunk. Same thing happened to me. I was pulling into work and heard a pop, hiss and loads of white smoke billowed out of the hood. I had a pretty good idea what it might be so I...

Removing dash pad on 1967 Plymouth Fury III

I've got a 68 Fury II. I pulled everything out of the dash over the Christmas break. You will have to pull the instrument cluster plastic out. There are several screws that are only accessible from the back. I pulled the glove box out too.

440 Swap on my '68 Fury

Hey wublick76, I'm in Winston Salem. I'm part of the Piedmont Mopar Club, http://www.piedmontmopar.com/site/Welcome.html The 318 had 265k miles and was not running smoothly. When I pulled the heads there was considerable erosion around the exhaust valves. The exhaust seats were not hardened. I...

440 Swap on my '68 Fury

Thanks Stan. I won't be going all original just for the sake of originality. There are others that have done that better than I ever could. Instead I will keep the outward/interior appearance as is. The underpinnings though are something else. If those engineers in '67-68 could do their work...

440 Swap on my '68 Fury

Yes, my plan is to update to front discs or perhaps four wheel discs. I also want to step up to a hydratech (hydroboost) system. A friend of mine put one on a charger and said it made a huge difference in stopping power. I want to keep the Fury under control. I think the reason the original...
