    Any Dodge 880 aficionados here?

According to the 1964 880 brochure the convs were available with a floor shift auto option and a 4 speed could be ordered with the 383. Has anyone ever seen either of these configurations? I do not remember ever seeing anything but a push button at on these cars.

    1963 chrysler 300 (rare?)

According to the VIN listed in the ad, it is a letter car. Second digit on a 300 in '63 is either a 2 or 4, the latter being a letter car.

New car! Well, to me anyhow

Make sure you do some research on the top......if it isn't working I'd make sure it goes up/down straight before you replace the fabric.......you can still enjoy the car with a bad top if it goes down! You must have good motor, cylinders, frame and cables though or the fabric will be ruined.

Fender or Data Tag Decoding question

the tag says it is a monaco 500 2 door hardtop..........DP23 (which should be the first 4 digits of the VIN) tells us that. a polara would start with DL (dodge low trim level), Monaco with DM (dodge mid level trim). The DP stands for Dodge Premium trim level. the online decoders are...

what side of my 383 is the vin code?

The best you can do on a pre-68 car is to find the block cast date and the other codes on it which will tell you when the engine was built with respect to the car.......so if the engine comes up as built say 2-6 weeks before the car then it is as close as you can get to #'s matching. There is...
