    Torsion bars

How did your bars come out? Give you any fits? I always hear horror stories about them not coming out. On the 2 cars I've done they slid right out with no problems. Kinda surprising with how rusty the Monaco was too.

    Torsion bars

Have no road experience, but did install some original police spec T bars in the Monaco when doing the front end, along with new rubber, and kin shocks. Can tell a huge difference between from just pushing down on the car. Also from the short jaunts around the neighborhood. The car is much...

Best place to buy a front suspension kit

I had better luck sourcing everything out separately. It was much cheaper too. The normal kits didn't include everything for my cars. After sourcing EVERYTHING out I came in the same price, or cheaper then the kits. Rockauto is the best, if you can get all your parts shipped from the same...

    Fitting Shocks onto car...

Sorry I have nothing to add. I think putting some weight in the back for a week or so might help settle the suspension a little Thank you for this pic Stan! Now I know a little more why the *** on the blumo is higher. Never noticed how far the iso clamp moved the spring away from the axle...

    Leaf springs - Formals

Heres a pic of the formal shackle, and the bigger diameter bushing that goes in the leaf spring eyelets. (I dont't have the smaller bushings for comparison, as the cordoba needed them..) I had a ***** of a time hunting all this stuff down a while ago. I have 1 extra spare shackle, but I wanna...

    Leaf springs - Formals

I also forgot to add- The bushings are different then all the other platforms as well. They might try to send you the regular B-body bushings, where the bushings are the same size for all 4 corners. Where as with the formals, they have different sized bushings. St louis spring hooked me up. I...

    Leaf springs - Formals

:laughing4: They are unobtanium Stan.. I looked everywhere for em when I broke the ones on the bumo. They are their own special design ofcoarse. No one reproduces em. Gotta get em from a parts car.
