Any chance you could take a photo of the area where the missing part belongs? A factory parts catalog would be a great help when looking for small items like this, they show up on e-bay from time to time.
If you look at my last photo and the one posted by 66178rat, they both appear to go back to the roughly the same spot in relation to the B pillar, but there's a big difference in the tilt back.
I"m I enjoying the car? Not at the moment! Great to hear from you (and the other members,) I have yet to drive this thing it's about 98% complete and I'm dealing with all the gremlins that keep popping up. I have to use a jump pack to power the seat as it wont work when it's wired to the car...
I'm looking for input from any member that has (had) a power bench seat, the photo's show the seat in my 72 Polara, they've been restored and are sitting a little high, the seat is all the way back and it still feels like I'm too close to the steering wheel. Can the seat be made to go back...
Murray has a lot of old C body cars, your best bet is to call him, 419-448-0293. I purchased mine back in 2013, $75.00 for the part $116.00 for S/H, it's a large item that needs a lot of protection.
Just got an e-mail from A B C Moparts, it looks like a long delay on these pads. The guy that makes the molds is having some health problems. So say a prayer for his recovery, if you can, wait it out. I might have to go another route.
I have access to a parts manual as well, nice diagram but still does not show what I need. (Where the metal bracket that holds the motor attaches.) I'm headed to the bone yard on Sat. maybe I'll get lucky.
