72 Dodge Polara police car 440 T code single snorkel with trap door.

Hopefully Alan or some other guru will chime in, I know my 72 WSP car had the siren located behind the grill on the left side. Interesting note, standard 65 Polara models used a 121" wheelbase but Police units used a 122" wheelbase, a requirement by the CHP.

The ford starter solenoid is usually wired to the siren, but the core support is an odd location, time to do some research.

I'd love to see this in person, looks to be very original, the alternator is waaay out to the right, I think it's been changed out at some point.

Sorry I posted that before I had my coffee, I was referring to the interior panels (my bad):BangHead: but inside or out it's all hard to find, and yes the left rear quarter has damage. Still this is a car that scratches an itch, I'm glad I'm broke!

It's fortunate those door and quarter panels are in good condition as they are made of unobtainium. First time I've seen this style panel on a two door.

I prefer the 61 models with the fins, My Classic Car had a 61 with the two 4bbl engine. I believe that was a CT. car as well.

If I only had the extra time, money, space.... I think this is a great opportunity for someone. Lots of parts included and there's a NOS right side fender on E bay if needed.

After looking over the photo's the only things I can find wrong, the air cleaner, not sure if W.S.P. used the dual snorkel or 340 style with the flapper door in the bottom, upper radiator hose. Car has correct battery heat shield and what looks to be an original radiator cap.

Can you read the decal located in the driver side door frame? That would be the unit number.

If it's a W.S.P. car it would have a rim blow wheel, power bench seat, remote trunk release. Car looks like a great original condition police car, please post hundreds of photo's.
