    Two prong Temperature sending unit

Freeway type driving should not be a challenge for cooling systems unless your radiator has not been rodded out in some time. I don't understand your logic about putting in an overtemperature light to cover up a gauge that is telling you the reality that should not be taking place. Answering...

    Instrument panel lights

Hello @Devinism About 2 years ago now I had you rebuild a rear power window switch for my 1972 Imperial sedan and it came back looking better than brand new and worked fine again. I currently am restoring one of my 1970 Chrysler 300s and have the instrument panel out and on a bench to work...

    Electronic ignition

I am looking for a distributor for my 1970 Chrysler 300 - it looks like you have the one I would like to buy........................ 3438722. It seems you have a rebuilt one and an NOS one but I would like to know more about the two options. Is there a contact number for you so I can call you...

    Instrument panel lights

I am working on a 1970 Chrysler instrument panel since I am going through a complete restoration of this car and even with the dash pulled out those are a ***** to work on so working on them in the car is just so much more painful. I did a short assignment in the instrument panel lab when I...

    Distributor cam for 1970 318

When I hear of a worn distributor cam, I would tend to look for a new distributor rather than try to fix the current one since oiling issues with your engine would have likely affected other distributor bushings and other parts as well (Poppy doesn't have that many miles on it as I recall...

I can vouch for Devin. Looked at least as good as new when I got my Imperial switch back and worked fine again.

    Power seat switches

I tried to send him an email that I would be up for purchasing 3 of them to be incorporated into my switches. It wouldn't go through so I will just call him on Monday. I like supporting guys like this who are willing to help us out. I really like his printed circuit boards and was very...

    Power seat switches

I also bought a few circuit boards from them and they are indeed far better quality than the originals that usually by now have pins broken loose on them. I also use new solid state limiters on all my restorations going forward and no longer need the noise suppressors as a result as well since...

    Power seat switches

Put me down for several of them............................. anything he would do would have to be longer lasting than the factory junk.

    1972 Imperial Electrical System Repairs

So what got the cornering lights to work?

    1972 Imperial Electrical System Repairs

Almost always the bulb holders in the tail lamps, cornering lamps side marker lights etc. have poor grounds after many years of outside exposure (the housings for the bulbs of course need to be well grounded too). What I find helpful is to go behind each bulb holder and rotate the holder in...

    Solid State?

Since there are no points opening and closing to maintain correct voltage as with the factory limiter, the solid state devices don't need one and on one of my 71 Imperials a failed noise suppressor was the cause of none of my gauges working, so best to leave it out if using the solid state limiter.

    Solid State?

Whenever I restore one of my cars or otherwise have the dash cluster out to repair something, I always put in a new solid state voltage limiter and eliminate the noise suppressor on the printed circuit board if one is present there. No more reliability issues going forward with the solid state...

Blower motor draws lots of current???

Whenever I get a new addition to my fleet, the first thing I do is replace the original blower motor with something current. Identical modern ones are available from companies like Bosch that will go the distance. Almost all the C bodies I have come to me with melted wires that source the...

Thank you for the followup. Hope you can share some photos in the near future. Given you have to fix a lot of things yet, does it have pretty high miles?
