SOLD 1971 Chrysler New Yorker Coupe $25000

Could that New Yorker even be sold to the U.S. given the recent historical/heritage law that Canada has enacted? Is that Canadian $$? I was expecting to see R22 on the fender tag but no radio code?

    SOLD 69 VIP W23 recall wheel car B7/B5 383 4bbl..runs drives

Thanks for your reply. I sold Bob Baker one of my 1970 Plymouth Sport Furys that was fully loaded with options including factory Autotemp, so I am assuming it was available on the 1969 models as well. I only asked because the current water valve on your car looks similar to the ones supplied...

    SOLD 69 VIP W23 recall wheel car B7/B5 383 4bbl..runs drives

Do you still have the recall wheels that were on it in previous listings? Is it an Autotemp car? Any photo of the body code plate?

It doesn't have to be that way - it is the one Autotemp system that can be made to work with minimal effort - just takes $$$

For Sale Mine 73 Imperial 4dr on ebay no reserve

Just curious, you indicate the a/c will be charged before the car is sold. I was wondering whether the Autotemp II controller is original or the replacement one from Performance Analysis Company? Does the system currently work and control/modulate at least the heater temperature currently...

    SOLD 1973 Chrysler Imperial

Mercedes Benz bought the patent rights from Chrysler for the Autotemp II system but substantially improved the quality so they wouldn't fail every two years under normal use, just like Chysler's non-Autotemp II heater control valves made of bakelite plastic. Chrysler lost a lot of customers...

    SOLD 1973 Chrysler Imperial

The body of the controller is made of aluminum that will not crack while the factory ones are black plastic that will crack after about 2 years of regular use. Also Performance Analysis Company will provide personal help if you run into issues in getting things to work correctly. The company...

    SOLD 1973 Chrysler Imperial

A prospective buyer might want to know the miles on it - I think it might be showing almost 57K on it? Also, while it has the Autotemp II system on it, I also see it has the remanufacturered Performance Analysis Company controller under the hood so it is surprising that the system doesn't...

SOLD Not Mine 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT - $22,000 - Phoenixville, Pa.

Since I have owned only a handful of Furys over the years and only have 2 Sport Furys left, if I have any questions about Plymouths in the future, I am going to the guy who knows them best in my experiences: Manny @70 Sport Suburban. He has been one of the most helpful guys on the site in my...

SOLD Not Mine 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT - $22,000 - Phoenixville, Pa.

Since the 1970 SFGT owned initially by Trev and then by John was a Brougham package model and didn't have the woodgrain, we then know it wasn't part of the Brougham pacakage: And my 1970 Sport Fury (non-GT) with the Brougham package didn't have one either. I guess all we can conclude given...

SOLD Not Mine 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT - $22,000 - Phoenixville, Pa.

I am not sure that is a wood strip - it might just be the indentation where the strip would go in 1971 models more than likely..............

SOLD Not Mine 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT - $22,000 - Phoenixville, Pa.

I do not believe those strips were used on any 1970 Plymouth Fury models. The dealer brochure is of no help because even those photos in which at least portions of the pad are shown are 1969 pads due to the early release dates of those brochures. None of the 1970 Plymouth Furys I have owned...

Our posts were overlapping almost, but I too recall them being held in place with pegs/nubs, so I agree with you there would be holes in the pad where they would have had them.

SOLD Not Mine 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury GT - $22,000 - Phoenixville, Pa.

I acquired a couple near new dashpads for my 70 SFGT and have inspected the one on my B7 blue one as well. No sign whatsoever of any glue ever being on these. The 1971 Sport Furys and other models as well came standard with that woodgrain molding and I am not so sure those were glued on either...

Yes, you beat me to editing my post to clarify I meant "in 1970". I am well aware of Critter's 1971 GT Brougham. I just don't recall ever seeing a 1970 model GT with that interior before now.................................

Thanks for posting those additional photos - I had no idea this was a Sport Fury GT Brougham until seeing the seats. I sold a 1970 Sport Fury Brougham to Bob Baker at ABC Moparts a few years ago now, and the interior in this brown example is identical. I didn't even know the Brougham package...
