its been said a picture is worth a thousands words is it possible to walk me thru with pictures i understand but my eyes need to see it.

im looking to buy a new alternator for my 65 plymouth fury with a 318 engine.should i convert over to a different style alternator like a one wire if so whats the procedure i dont want to burn up my car electrical system.or stay with the original type.what have you guys done

ok i got a 68 to 69 charger steering wheel and horn button complete off eBay original wheel off car got on eBay for 104.00 auction style plus 20 to ship it fits so when i put it in ill hook up horn with it.thanks for all the help all of you guys.especially Polara_500 for the help Senior Member

ok im on the last of this you were right i have the wrong wheel for my 65 plymouth fury it should be a three spoke not two i now have the correct horn ring .does anybody or you know someone who has one for sale.wow thanks for all the help on this

sir im so close to fixing mine does a 1966 plymouth fury steering wheel not the horn ring fit onto the 65 plymouth fury and if so i can't see why the horn ring wouldn't .

ok been checking into this i do have the wrong horn assembly ring im looking at one on eBay thank you guys i do wonder if my steering wheel will work with the correct ring .but so far so good finally on the right path

i think the best thing for me is to post what i have as far as a horn ring i see i have all the other parts

ok ill take a closer look now that i have some pics i have a 65 fury and i must need to take the cap off of it but from what i remember its the two hole unit that bolts up from under the steering wheel .it seems you are attaching the three screws to something i must be missing .but hey thanks...

i know its just baffles me that i can't figure this out i must have a missing piece and that no one has pics of it or remembers how they did it .ill check those pages thanks again. p.s. i know he means well I'm pretty sure all you guys do.this particular job has been upsetting to me.

i believe what i have is a copy of the factory service manual but it shows no picture of the assembly in an exploded view

hello all i have a 65 plymouth fury i need pics or a exploded view of the horn button assembly from the ring to the button and how it works becsuse i think i have all the parts to it but can't seem to make it work under the horn ring correctly.any help please
