Hello from germany / 440 New Yorker

Easiest to change if you remove the springs, and if the springs come apart even better to just handle the top leaf spring. Once they are out I use fire to cook the rubber bushing until it gets soft enough to push out the bushing and inner metal insert, then just use a small chisel to deform the...

68T&CCruiser wants to say THANKS for having me

Freeing up the pistons I would go with a 50/50 mix of ATF and Diesel. I'd be pulling the valve covers as well and remove the rocker assemblies and give the valve train a coating as well, might have a stuck valve here and there. After it's soaked for a couple days, and a couple applications...

Welcome to the site! Motor might not turn over since the starter appears to be sitting on the driver floor board... I'm a 68 T/C owner as well, love the 68's! ;)

New Member - 1968 Plymouth Fury lll Convertible (Survivor Car)

The cars always came from the factory with black heater hoses, the red/orange were after market generic hoses and were generally a bit cheaper than the same hose in black. Not sure why the parts suppliers made the red/orange hoses but they did and many have survived the decades. I will only...

Greetings from Estonia - 74 Newport

Congratulations on finding a classic big block car! Looks like a bit of a project but seems like your heading in the right direction. Well that sucks that the driveshaft dropped out and you damaged the slip yoke...but I hope it didn't damage the transmission. Car will ride and look much...

Rescuing this 1972 Plymouth Fury wagon

Rims are pretty common 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern, also almost the same exact same as the more modern 5x114.3mm rims, obviously the newer rims are for FWD cars so the back spacing can be a little excessive, but could work in a pinch. Dodge and Ford used the same pattern for decades.

    Mini Starter Terminal Post Adapter

That is a neat aftermarket item...never knew about those. But I have not had any issue installing the mini starters after removing the OEM adapter and then just installing the wiring on the starter. I know some have clearance issues with the terminal ends and the block.
