And the quality of seals are just horrible. I have to redo hub seals on my 84 Cummins crewcab every year, front and rear, because they just don't last. I've tried them all from the cheapest to the most expensive and they fail prematurely.

Very interesting disc brake conversion. If everything works out and performs properly you should have your friend make those brackets and sell them. ;)
I think the dash is the only thing with any real amount of wood grain, wagon is buried right now so can't go out and investigate but I did remember to dig out the radio delete panel and snap a pic.
I work nights and keep why weekends on the same schedule, but I can be out in the shop working to 2am or later now that the new shop is getting a bit more finished....heat (even poor heating), and some insulation makes a big difference. ;)

The quality of the photo makes it look like the pic was taken back in the 80's..love it!...and I have a square fan exactly the same as the one in the lower left. :)
