Gonna get dual exhaust on my 66 windsor...

25 years ago when I restored my coronet I had a local Mopar guy bend up the 2.25" dual exhaust because it was claimed he was the best and had been doing it since these cars were new! Back then I barely looked at the exhaust since I was more excited about just being able to drive the car. Well...

    Gaskets or No Gaskets ?

I ditched gasket long ago as well...been using RTV on all my exhaust pipe flange to manifold connections for over 20 years now. When I was using gaskets I might get a year out of them before they started leaking, and I tried every gasket on the market, doubling gaskets etc. I even used RTV on...

    Manifold to Exhaust Gasket choices

Years ago I had nothing but problems blowing out gaskets between the exhaust pipe and HP manifolds, tried every product out there and never got more then 18 months before you'd here the Tick tick tick of an exhaust leak. Eventually I decided to just get a good High Temp RTV silicone and slather...

    2" exhaust

The driver side manifold exits at a bit of an angle...almost 90* to the side of the block. It does this so the pipes can be directed around steering linkage and shift linkages. Personally I would never run headers...nor will I ever run them as long as I have a choice. ;) They are way more...

    2" exhaust

Yes they will need to be changed. The angle, and orientation of the bolt holes on the flange changed from LO Po to HP manifolds. As well as the location of the flange...closer, or farther from the ground? See above comment...;) Different manifolds have different flange locations and bolt...
