    Original Carburetor?

The fuel filter should be down by the fuel pump, and the line should be one piece from the filter to the carb. They probably moved the coil because of the rubber hose in the fuel line.

Vacuum style Automatic Speed Control systems question

Hey Ross, some info for you, The aftermarket ARA kits used the exact servo as the Chrysler unit. I was an installer for them back in the 70's. The dash switch changed from the rotary one to the slider in 1974. the two biggest problems I came across were not holding correct speed, cured by...

Anyone convert a TRW pump to a Saginaw or Federal pump?

No. All Saginaw pumps have the same mounting locations, and all "B" and "RB" engines use the same water pump housing. Even though the pumps are the same with GM, make sure you get one from a Chrysler product. I believe I used the pressure hose from a small block fury, you will be able to tell as...

Anyone convert a TRW pump to a Saginaw or Federal pump?

Yes, I did this on my 1966 300. I converted it over to a Saginaw pump. Of course you need the pump and mounting brackets. You will also need a new pressure hose, and you need to make sure the return line on the gear box is the same size hose as the pump. I was able to reuse the fan belt.

Well, which bolts are you talking about. Some of the bolts hold brackets in place, (Power steering on the drivers side, and alternator on the pass. side). Some go thru the water pump into the block thru to the water jacket, and some don't. A picture would be a great help. Also does your car have...

    Help with 727 Kickdown Lever

The mount for a 2bbl, is different than the one for a 4bbl. The 4bbl carb sit more toward the front of the engine. You would be better off getting a complete 4bbl system from Detmatt.

The last thing you want to experiment with is the throttle linkage on a torqueflight transmission. You can burn them up quick like that.
