    They do not make a complete metal gear for Chryslers. Your problem is probably old grease in the tracks and runners. When you get the window apart, remove the glass, and give a liberal coat of grease on everything that moves.

    The design from the factory is for crash protection. The coupler is designed to absorb movement in a crash. The U Joints will not give you this protection.

    If you do this conversion make sure you use the Chrysler plunge system at the steering box. Otherwise you could lock up your steering. Never use U Joints.

    If you can roll down the window some, it might not be the regulator is bad. I had the same problem on my 300, and I had to take it completely apart and free up everything and re lubricate. When you get the regulator out, you will be able to see the stripped gear if it is toast. No matter what...

    Yes. It is on the column just below the indicator. Make certain you trans linkage is adjusted correctly, then adjust the pointer in NEUTRAL. If you set it in park the rest of the positions will be off.
