    To check for sure, you will need to remove the wiper arms, cowl cover, and wiper linkage to inspect and clean thoroughly. At that point you can look for rust spots.

    Cowl area gets clogged with leaves. If you are lucky, you can clean it out and reseal the area. If not you will need metal replacement. Only way to find out, is to dive in.

    From what I understand, your area should get around a foot of snow, we are at seven inches and still snowing. Remember take numerous breaks, we are not as young as we used to be.

    My tank was damaged, (one corner was caved in). They cut out the bad corner, sand blasted the tank inside and out, welded in a new corner, and coated the tank and the straps for $425.00. Since no one made a new tank for the 1966 at the time this was the only way to go. They did a wonderful job...

    It also helps to remove the right side and center lower dash supports. This way you can pull the bottom of the dash out for a little more room.
