    Back in my younger days when I was working in the dealerships, if we had to replace a speedometer, it came with the odometer reading zero. We would have to set the odometer to the mileage on the speedometer being replaced. Not a hard job at all.

    If the car was completely restored the odometer can legally be reset to zero. You must be able to completely document it though.

    OUCH on the hand. Very simple, I was changing out the oil pan on my Newport. I was cleaning the windage tray on my grinders wire wheel.     Thanks. My hand is healing nicely. Started therapy, I have good movement of my fingers, and about 65% of the strength of my other hand. Stitches should come out Friday.

    Yes they did. Back when I was in the factory school, they took us out to Belvidere Assembly, and I saw a number of them come down the line.
