I've noticed similar issues, threads I'm watching aren't generating notifications like the majority of my watched threads. I've gotten used to checking the Watched Threqda tab occasionally.

65 New Yorker Clock Lightbulb question

Thanks Ross! I’m guessing the bulb has been in there for a long long time so I appreciate your explanation on the smoked appearance. The base is stuck in the connector really good. I’ve been trying to extract it with needle nose. Are you saying I need to push in first then turn it? The...

65 New Yorker Clock Lightbulb question

It looks like smoked glass because of deposits from the filiment have darkened the glass. The bulb should be clear glass. The base of the bulb should push into the bulb connector and twist to remove.

65 New Yorker Clock Lightbulb question

Aloha everyone, I have a 65 New Yorker that the clock light quit working. I went to pull the bulb and it disintegrated in my hand. In fact I still haven’t been able to remove the gold base out of the plug (any suggestions?) This is the glass part of the bulb itself. It’s smoked looking glass...
