    Power Steering Pump Snap Ring

Since I tend to take more things apart then I put back together, today I planned to take my reservoir off and replace the big main O-ring/seal. I also wanted to get a better look at the filler neck because I believe my reservoir leaks where the filler neck comes together with the reservoir body...

Meet Buttercup, a 1972 New Yorker Brougham 2-door Hardtop

Here are the new replacement parts. Shown are the left and right 1 piece manifold to muffler pipes. Left side was spot on. the right had to be massaged a little. It appears the correct exhaust hangers need are the same as my Hurst 300. Universal hangers were employed currently. see last 4 photos

    EDELBROCK AVS2

As long as manifold is a late model it can be left alone. Only reason I don't like coming off the ballast side is, it draws a lot more amps through the ignition switch. Both are rather large amp draws. Coil is a large amp draws because only thing slowing the current is the huge number of...

    Rookie Brake Question

Nice bracket. Keep in mind that you'll have a challenge accessing the bracket's mounting bolt with the fender on - that's why the others all mount with the bolt on the INBOARD side of the stub frame rail. I believe you're on the right track with the port labelling, but there are others here...

Next to do was address the leak prone patched up exhaust. The cure was to install a dual exhaust kit from Waldron w/ Imperial mufflers. As you can see the present exhaust Had been patched up many times

    Heaterbox restoration

The main thing is going to be the heater core. But I figured while I have it out I might as well go over it and check everything else out and clean it up.

    Heaterbox restoration

What concerns are you wishing to address? New evaporator core in your stock? New heater core in your stock? Failed actuators? New blower motor? Applicable gaskets and seals? One thing I have noticed on our Chryslers is that the vac hoses to the actuators and such appear to be a...

NOT MINE 1965 DODGE MONACO 2D HT - $10,900 Cape Coral Florida

I wonder why no power brakes. My '65 4-door Polara with slant-6 had power brakes.

The GM HEI module also needs a dab of heat sink grease under it so it does not overheat and fail. Might need to snip off the locating tangs so it'll be flat on its new mounting surface Mentioning this "for the record", no more, no less. FWIW Thanks for that link and illustration! CBODY67

    The wanderer

Radials do like minimum toe-in. The whole situation of toe-in is that as the wheels roll against the pavement, a force is piut on the steering system so toe-out the front wheels. So the static pre-load is there to compensate for that. Such that "rolling toe" (which some alignment machines...

    Rookie Brake Question

As I’m starting to regain momentum on my neglected 68, I’ve shifted focus to (in my opinion) the most IMPORTANT system of them all - the braking system. I was lucky enough to score a set of 72 disc brakes for my car and they’ve been connected almost 2 years now. However, now that it’s time to...

    Tight Budget

I'd keep those wheels hidden somewhere but not on that car. You said it was converted to Ford front and rear suspension. Was it done properly? Why do you want to change it to a different Ford suspension? The body seems nice, why don't you get a parts car for it. With a parts car you can use the...
