61 Dart Seneca Steering Column/Turn Signal Issue

I noticed the turn signal lever keeps popping out of place and I have to pull back on the handle to reengage it. The spring clip also moves up on the two posts and nearly falls out with repeated movement. I see the flat part that seems to touch the steering wheel yoke but when I put it on and...

    1966 IMPERIAL | WINDOW MOTORS

I suggest lubing the window regulator first. Use a white lithium lube. Pull the door panels off and see if this clears the problem.

    1966 IMPERIAL | WINDOW MOTORS

Hi everyone! Has anyone ever had their window motors rebuilt? Can this be done? If so, any recommendations for vendors would be appreciated. My windows barely move and require an incredible amount of assistance on my part to move up and down. I assume the motors are tired. Thanks, - Travis

    For Sale 1974 Imperial 2-door

Anyone ever noticed how many new members we get on here-all of the time. I would suspect that we have a lot of derby dipshit wolves dressed as sheep. No other forum gets this many new members. A little food for thought. It's a good thing that there are other cars that they use now. And...

Package shelf coloration and/or source for new

It always reminded me of the backside of "Masonite" board, due to the pattern in it. Better than just the pressed paper boards normally used. The slots for the rear speaker were cut, although just one speaker could be used, YET two 6x9s do fit nicely! Color? Probably a dye to seal the...

    New Member, New Polara

Hung the car from the lift using ratchet straps. The load is very light, it's just to keep everything square. Not sure this is what the engineers had in mind when designing the roof rack but i appreciate it regardless. Cutting out the last of the floor now, the seam it welds too looks pretty...

Package shelf coloration and/or source for new

I haven’t found a “for sure” source for a ‘66 Chrysler Newport rear package shelf, just various C bodies models from other years. Given that, I might make my own from hardboard, using a jigsaw. How were package shelves colored? Paint? Dye? Vinyl covering? My original is badly damaged and I...

1966 Chrysler 300 Power Window Problems

Have you visited www.mymopar.com and downloaded the Chrysler Factory Service Manual and also the 1968 Chrysler parts book for your car? It will detail the motor issues you are having. The service manual will also have the factory wiring schematics in it too. There is a member in here who can...

NOT MINE 1973 Plymouth Custom Suburban Station Wagon up for auction on BaT

My 74 Monaco wagon sold for $7100 on B.A.T. last fall. If I had put a reserve on it it would've been at least $8500. I had been watching auctions on there for awhile and thought I didn't need a reserve. Oh well not the first time I was wrong.
