Asking for a little tech help understanding 1961 Chrysler power brakes.

Suspecting the aluminum-body master cylinder liks is on my '80 Newport might work too? It's a bit smaller in cross-section. CBODY67

For Sale OEM Torqueflite Lower Rod And Swivel Assembly

This is a OEM Torqueflite Lower Rod And Swivel Assembly. It is off of a 727 with a floor shift, but I believe the column shift is the same, as is the 904 rod and swivel. It is original, not a china knockoff, and is in good condition. $25.00. Local pickup, or buyer pays shipping.

'67 C body production info aka "How many?"

My source says 26,563 '67 2dr HT Newports were made that year. With your options, it would be a WAY lower number. My guess would be less than 25.

    My neighbor ruined my plans

Except for the trim, the interchange on the door is '72-3 Chrysler and Imperial 4dr HT. Good luck in your search.

'65 300L question please - What does this look like?

The Chrysler 300 Club International sells them. Club Store You'll have to join the club to buy though. That's because of licensing issues with Chrysler and really out of their control. It's a good organization with a lot of resources anyway.

Meet Buttercup, a 1972 New Yorker Brougham 2-door Hardtop

Well, I checked and apparently I have used on other cars (all Dodge) all four 2823929 or 3466646 over-the-axle exhaust hangers that I had bought from @marty mopar. Not finding any NOS so I ordered two repops from Accurate Exhaust this morning -- thanks again to @sixpkrt, @david hill, and...

Asking for a little tech help understanding 1961 Chrysler power brakes.

I don't have any good leadership for you but my 60 Dart had the same brake setup as your 61 Newport with the dual cylinder front brake system and the bellows booster. I fought with those brakes for a few years trying to get them to play nice but had no luck getting them adjusted to my...

    NOT MINE 1976 NYB

A/C override is their way of bypassing the ATCII system to operate the blower motor is my guess..

'65 300L question please - What does this look like?

Hey can you please give me more details on where to buy that reproduction lens? Mine is cracked exactly the same way yours is, apparently very common problem... Thanks! Looks amazing and really cool idea for a refrigerator magnet, lol!

Can you help a Small block Chevy guy understand a 1962 Chrysler 413 with cross-ram manifold? - compression and pump gas?

I think it has the '62 transmission. From what I can see of the transmission, it looks like an aluminum case, and I'm 96% sure the engine is 1962, so that would be the obvious solution. I thought perhaps I'd just buy a case of octane booster and run a bottle with every fill up. Supposed to...

Asking for a little tech help understanding 1961 Chrysler power brakes.

Well, I've since found this - though granted this is supposed to be mid-50's Dodge, seems to me the parts are in the same general places, so, I could imagine this is how it works on the '61 Chrysler. I'll also download the manuals.

South Carolina history of this car....help from old timers

I got a 66 fury in SC couple years ago now. I was able to track down the three previous owners, none of whom had driven the car. Even went to NC and then back to SC again. But, wondering if the SC old timers might recognize this inspection sticker. It is similar to those from 83-89 from...

    Brake booster ideas?

As much as I wish there was an alternative solution than having to send the booster in, it’s pretty much your best bet! I bought a core off eBay and had it sent straight to Booster Dewey a few years back.

Can you help a Small block Chevy guy understand a 1962 Chrysler 413 with cross-ram manifold? - compression and pump gas?

Lads -- I'm an old fud that not only had a Fury with the ram-induction engine back in 1960-1964, but I also was fortunate to have acquired another back in 2000 (which is still in my stable). Some points of interest: - I run the highest octane unleaded but with every fillup I also add about five...

Can you help a Small block Chevy guy understand a 1962 Chrysler 413 with cross-ram manifold? - compression and pump gas?

The biggest difference between 61 and 62 Chryslers is that in 61 the cast iron Torqueflite trans was in use, while in 62 a change was made to use the new aluminum case Torqueflite. 61 engines have a different crankshaft than 62 engines because of the different way they connect up to the two...
