Is this an OK way to reinforce a front sub-frame?

If this replacement sub is rust-free as you say, I would not bother doing this reinforcement to it. Depending on what your car's body type is, you'd get more benefit tying the F&R subframes together. Time better spent. As @Fratzog said - just put a block of wood on your floor jack instead.

    1966 383 516 heads what pistons?

Sounds like you're on a budget, and it's real easy to cost-justify every next step on the stairway until you find yourself in the attic and out of money. Anybody up your way have a mid-70s Newport that can donate a 400? An engine you can hear run and do an oil pressure check on? Regasketing...

New guy needs a little help

I also think those black painted spindles came from a smaller car. There's no way to make them work with C-body upper control arms and lower ball joints. If you are going to keep the Leeds kit, I would post a request for 68 Drum knuckles/spindles in the MOPAR PARTS AND CARS WANTED FORUM...

61 Dart Seneca Steering Column/Turn Signal Issue

I'm pretty sure the snap ring is in place. All I took out was the 2 screws that hold the assembly in place and then reinstalled it. I don't have the factory wheel anymore so I use a crappy speedway universal type. I'll get pictures of how it looks with the hub on in a bit.

1969 power bench seat wiring help

I am putting my interior back in on my 1969 New Yorker and while I have the bench seat out, I wanted to lube and test all the movements. I have a good battery powering the red and black connector, under the seat, to the seat switch, but I get no movement at all thru any of the switch commands...

NOT MINE NOT MINE 300 Hurst

The registry that the 300 club does is mostly based on members' cars. While that does give a decent representation of a portion of the VINs, it's obvious that their registry isn't and never can be complete. I mentioned that their last newsletter had '61 300G VINs. There looks to be just under...
